About RideEyed

For most of my life, I’ve been a car fan.

As a kid, I ogled sports cars with their beautiful designs and extraordinary performance. When not memorizing stats from car magazines and auto show brochures, I doodled my own car designs. See a car’s tail lights at night? I could tell you the make and model--less to memorize back then.

As an adult, I bought my first true driver's car, a Miata, and discovered the magic of driving experience euphoria. A few years later, I preordered my dream driver’s car, one of the first Lotus Elise imports, which I will likely keep forever.

One morning, I went to a store for what I thought would be a quick trip to buy some snacks. When I stopped by the diecast cars to check what’s new, I ended up having a conversation with a random car fan for over half an hour about some of our favorite cars.

That conversation inspired me to create RideEyed, to share a celebration and an appreciation of cars from the past, present, and future.
